AEROLASE NEO

We are pleased to offer a new service to treat a wide variety of skin and vein conditions. Please ask us about Aerolase treatment, an FDA approved laser, called the Aerolase Neo. Our physicians can treat a broad range of skin types and conditions, from acne to hair removal, in the comfort of our office. Treatments for some medical conditions may be covered by your insurance. Since insurance does not pay for cosmetic treatments, we gladly accept cash, or credit card at the time of service.

The LightPod Neo™ is the safest and gentlest aesthetic laser available due to its unique Micropulse-1064 technology, which delivers energy to the skin 30-50 times faster than other lasers. This allows patients of all skin types to receive pain-free treatment without the use of messy cooling gels or anesthetics; solely using a beam of light to touch the skin. We employ this laser to offer our customers the highest standards in treatment comfort, safety and efficacy. The LightPod Neo™ is FDA approved. Learn more.

Procedures

As skin ages there can be many changes that occur. Skin quality can worsen with enlarged pores, texture, and lax skin (wrinkles). The laser treatment's energy targets the dermis and stimulates collagen production, which reduces fine lines, pores, and tightens skin.
Acne is a skin disease that occurs when hair follicles are clogged with dead skin cells, oil, or bacteria. It is characterized by blackheads or whiteheads, pimples, oily skin, and possible scarring. The unique settings of the Aerolase Laser allows energy to penetrate deeply into the skin within a highly safe and tolerable pulse to reduce oil production, suppress inflammation, and destroy the bacteria to help clear current acne breakouts and to stop them in the future.
A common condition with skin aging is the appearance of veins and broken capillaries in the skin. Similarly, bruising and angiomas occur when blood is trapped below the skin. The Aerolase Neo effectively addresses these conditions with deep-penetrating energy that removes the unwanted veins and broken capillaries, which are then gradually cleared by the body’s natural immune response.
Hair is, of course, naturally occurring on the body, but can grow in unwanted places; shaving may also cause hair to either curl back on itself and irritate the skin (pseudofolliculitis barbae, or pfb) or grown completely under the skin (ingrown), both of which cause bumps and irritation. Laser hair removal uses a combination of heat and energy to destroy the hair follicle without harming the skin around it. The hair is destroyed and will be slow to grow back, or may not regrow at all.
Nail fungus, is an infection of the toenail in which the nail changes color, thickness and quality. In addition of causing an unhealthy appearance, it can cause pain and difficulty walking. Laser treatments deeply penetrate the nail bed to destroy fungal material and a new, non-infected nail will grow in 3-12 months.
Rosacea is a chronic disorder that is characterized by facial flushing and with time the gradual development of persistent facial redness and spider-like blood vessels. It is often punctuated by episodes of inflammatory papules (bumps), pustules (pimples), and swelling. The laser light destroys visible blood vessels or reduces extensive redness. The LightPod Neo laser emits pulses of light that target tiny blood vessels just under the skin, causing them to disintegrate.
These are all skin issues related to lifestyle, sun exposure, and inflammation. The Aerolaser Neo laser penetrates the skin with deep energy to suppress the inflammatory reaction that causes redness and clears it away.
Psoriasis is caused by an abnormal immune response and causes raised patches of scaly skin that is often itchy and flaky, called plaques. Aerolase suppresses the inflammation and slows plaque growth. Laser has no side-effects, is more tolerable, and faster clearance rates than traditional treatments, which usually include steroids and long-term medication.
Warts are caused by a virus attacking the skin. It can cause rapid growth of skin cells in the infected area, causing lumps, discoloration, and rough patches. Aerolase gently destroys the virus and allows the skin to heal, restoring its normal appearance.
Dark marks may appear on skin when melanin collects below the surface. This could be caused by sun exposure or age. In the case of melasma, there could be large patches of discolored skin. The Aerolase laser helps diffuse the melanin causing the marks, so the marks will disappear.
